Évora África was an African culture festival held in Évora in 2018, with more than 150 artists from African countries gathering to make known the continent’s culture and artistic heritage. In this work, Global.’s challenge was to design all the graphic materials associated with the event and to increase its visibility to ensure greater public participation. This was delivered through a communication strategy that involved Media Relations, Public Relations and Digital Marketing.
In the first phase, to publicize this first year of the event, we focused on an institutional communication plan, with interviews and in-depth articles in the press. In phase two, we focused on presenting the various projects and programmes included in the festival. The results of this work were quickly in evidence: three months before the event — in order to capture more people — we had already gathered hundreds of interviews in print and digital media, television channels and even a range of contents shared on social networks.
