Born in Ovar, Iva Lamarão has a degree and a master’s degree in Biochemistry and is a television presenter. In 1998, she began her professional career in fashion, in the “Super Model Of the World” contest; later she took part in the Miss Portugal contest, which she won in 2001, and then moved into television, where she is now one of the presenters of the Fama Show programme and the face of SIC. Inquisitive by nature, she reports her experiences on the blog acuriosa.pt and in 2020 she wrote her first book “A meio caminho”, where she reveals some of the secrets of her personal life. Passionate about travel, fashion and animals, she can’t live without her dog Heidi.
