Moët Chandon – Effervescence Party

On November 23rd, Global organized the first Moët Effervescence event in Portugal – an event created by Moët & Chandon to celebrate the effervescence of champagne, recreated in several cities around the world, and kicking off the end-of-year celebrations. One of the first and most important steps was to choose an iconic venue to host this event – the venue chosen was the Ajuda National Palace, the last address of the Portuguese monarchy. 160 people were invited, including VIPs, influencers, clients and press.

The guests arrived at 7:00 p.m., for a Welcome Drink, and took a tour of the Palace – at the beginning, M&C minis were handed out, to be drunk along the way. In the middle of the route we could find the Effervescence Room, one of the iconic elements created for the event, where the effervescent effect of a bottle of champagne was recreated, in shades of gold and silver.

The Welcome Drink was served in the Throne Room, where violinists greeted guests with covers of pop songs. The guests were then invited to the halls where the signature dinner of chef Arnaldo Azevedo, from Vila Foz Restaurant, took place, with dishes paired with different champagnes.

Throughout the dinner, there were moments of musical performance by the group Inspiration Music, which also created the moment of transition to the party. The opening of the party was made with the M&C Golden Light Up Magnum, which was transported by the catering staff, who in turn were led by elements of Inspiration Music.

The party had several moments of live music and DJ set, where champagne was served in the brand’s golden glasses and with the bottles lit up.
