Following the success of previous editions of “FC art – when fashion meets art”, the artistic initiative that establishes a bridge between the cultural universes of Fashion and Arts through the creation of site specifics in the FC Concept Store spaces, Fashion Clinic tasked Global Press to develop a new proposal that would allow it to create a distinctive image for FC, attract more public and serve as a cultural platform.
Global Press began by presenting the artist Julião Sarmento, chosen for this 4th edition and worked with him on the concept and dynamics of presentation of the project. The work carried out by the artist resulted in the creation of a 300 copies limited edition t-shirt, numbered and signed. The proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt went entirely to the Portuguese Institute of Oncology (IPO). For this site specific, the artist invited 39 women to pose individually, wearing that same t-shirt, in a photographic production. Public figures, journalists, artists and businesswomen were part of the selection of personalities who accepted the challenge and joined the initiative. The photographs were exhibited at the Fashion Clinic woman’s clothing store.
In addition to the media and public relations, Global Press designed and organized the press presentation event, VIP guests and friends.
Dozens of results have been achieved for FC through the negotiation of interviews and background articles on the company, the initiative and the artist. The event had over 150 guests and sales exceeded expectations.
