Netflix – Rabo de Peixe

Rabo de Peixe is a Netflix series directed by advertising director Augusto Fraga and starring rising star José Condessa. It was a huge success, becoming the first Portuguese series to appear in Netflix’s top 10 in 33 countries.

GLOBAL. was the agency chosen to communicate the launch of the second Portuguese series for the streaming platform in Portugal, and was responsible for the media strategy for the launch; organizing a glam shoot to communicate the series; managing and negotiating interviews; producing, adapting and disseminating press materials (press releases, trailer, first images); organizing press junkets – choosing the venue, logistics, catering and multimedia support required; and also managing the talent at the events (press junket and series preview), including logistics, make-up & hair and all the support required.

The main objective of the strategy designed for the launch of Rabo de Peixe was to achieve various communication moments on different channels. This ensured good media coverage in all types of media, which allowed the different target segments to be reached and the final results to be achieved with great success.


This media relations campaign was awarded a bronze medal at the PRGN Best Practice Awards 2023 in San Francisco, USA.
