The wine brand MAVEM came to market six months ago and has just won the judges of one of the oldest and most important international competitions, the International Wine & Spirits Competition. MAVEM received the silver award in the category of Packaging and the one of bronze in the category of Grape Brandy. The spirits competition competition took place in July in London and had a record number of entries in the 2017 edition.

Produced and aged in the Tagus Valley, MAVEM is a soft, aromatic and extremely versatile wine spirit made from the distillation of a very restricted selection of Portuguese wines. The unique blending results from the attention to quality and the exceptional climatic characteristics of the production site. Due to the thermal amplitudes felt in the Vale do Tejo region, it is possible to use the Art of Dynamic Maturation. Thus, with the cold of the winter, the fruity and floral notes are explored and in the heat of the summer intense notes of wood are extracted.

MAVEM is also evidenced by its image that combines Manuelino style with a contemporary representation of the Portuguese tile that invites to the discovery of the label with figures allusive to the time of the discoveries

MAVEM is distributed exclusively by EMPOR Spirits which strengthens its portfolio of Portuguese brands.
