Gucci presents the campaign movie Gift Giving 2016, created for the artist and director Floria Sigismondi.
With references to the elemental and pure beauty of the natural world, Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele has planted a Gucci garden where the wild life appears in colorful and romantic patterns and through ornaments present in this collection.
This year, the Gift Giving campaign is affirmed through the Gucci Garden, with a rich, vibrant, and lyrical film, inspired by the story of the Garden of Eden. Beautiful plants and exotic animals, such as tiger, zebra, birds, bees, bunnies, and even a unicorn, live gracefully in this dreamlike version of the Gucci Garden.
In addition, the snake, the tree, and the apple combine to create a world of pre-humanity, of natural fullness, in which a young Adam and Eve exist in innocence and harmony. The romantic and esoteric atmosphere, combined with Donizetti’s Il Dolce Suono, creates a hypnotic intensity.
Floria Sigismondi presents Gift Giving products sonically and fantastically suggesting a perfect blend of myth and reality.
