Esporão annually opens the doors of its wine cellar to share some rare and old wines. The annual Esporão wine tasting takes place this year on the 13th of May, in the Enoturismo da Herdade, and is limited to 12 places. To accompany the selected wines, the creativity of Chef Pedro Pena Bastos was challenged, which proposes a menu where each dish is inspired by the wine that accompanies it.
The host of the event will be Sandra Alves, an oenologist from Herdade do Esporão, who will lead the participants through the history and evolution of each wine. Already the trip to the tastes and time of the earth, prepared by Chef Pedro Pena Bastos, promises many green vegetables, aromatic fruit and the first harvests of the time. This enogastronomic combination leads a program of return to the Alentejo roots, in the place that knows their stories best.
The value of the test and dinner is 150 €, subject to confirmation of the reservation. Herdade do Barrocal can enjoy a 20% discount.
