The dynamism of London is the setting for the fascinating story of how the recently opened Ermenegildo Zegna store on New Bond Street came to life.
Shot from January 2015, when the previous and first Zegna boutique in London closed, until November of this year, when the new store opened its doors to the public,
The video is not exactly a making of the New Bond Street store, but rather tells the story of the origin of the materials used in that store.
It is a journey that takes us to northern Italy, where marble quarries and wood factories are located, and to more exotic places such as Swaziland and South Africa, where William’s Dare / Avere (2016) tapestry Kentridge was created.
There is always more to Zegna Global Store than we have at first glance.
