"I am very excited to visit Lisbon to celebrate my brand’s 25th anniversary and to support the local design talent. Portugal is a very important market for our brand in Europe, and I am looking forward to my first visit to Lisbon to experience this wonderful city in all its glory."

Internship at Tommy Hilfiger’s headquarters

Mr. Hilfiger went to the University of Architecture of Lisbon, where he reviewed the entries to a design competition that Tommy Hilfiger conducted in collaboration with the University. The students at the school were invited to create their own unique interpretation of iconic American fashion, inspired by Tommy Hilfiger’s 25 years of Classic American Cool. The student who best illustrates how American design can be interpreted with a Portuguese twist was granted a design internship at Tommy Hilfiger’s headquarters.
